Design Process

All websites being developed will follow the same design process. The average time for a basic site to go live is about 2 months from the day the contract is signed. For custom websites the time frame will vary depending on the level of detail and complexity for each site. Every website built by Visual Solutions is guaranteed for life and if any bugs or issues are found they are repaired at no cost to the customer.

Discovery ~

The discovery phase consists of multiple meetings which are used to meet with the customer, learn about their business, and to determine the type of website that is going to be needed. The domain name is also decided at this time. This can sometimes be a trial & error task since the name wanted is not always available. We will also decide on the basic layout of the site and color scheme. If the business has an existing logo we incorporate that if so desired.

Design ~

During the design phase a mock layout is created of what the website will look like. At this time the basic layout is finalized, along with the color schemes, image placement, and font styles. If the site is to have multiple links then a flow chart is created to show the website’s hierarchical structure.

Development ~

The development phase consists of the building and testing of the website. During this phase multiple tests are done with the customer to ensure that their original vision is being met. Changes and revisions are also done during this phase.

Launch and Maintenance ~

During this phase the customer has signed off on final approval and the site goes live. After the website has gone live the customer has the option to purchase a monthly maintenance contract for any updates or revisions.
